Free and Reduced Admission for Dante’s Inferno The Movie, at Bryn Mawr Film Institute

Posted April 28, 2009

As the final event associated with Haverford’s exhibition of illustrations of Dante’s Divine Comedy from the Tri-Colleges,  Haverford College Special Collections and the Bryn Mawr Film Institute present a special screening of Sean Meredith’s updated movie version of “Dante’s Inferno.”   Set against an all-too-familiar urban backdrop of used car lots, gated communities, strip malls and the U.S. Capitol, Meredith’s take on the literary classic uses hand-drawn paper puppets and a Victorian-era toy theater to tell Dante’s tale of sin and redemption.

Wednesday, April 29, 7:30 pm.  Bryn Mawr Film Institute.  All students with ID get in for free!  And a reduced admission flier for others is available here:
